FAQ

  • If I lift heavy wont I get manly or bulky?

Don’t think that just because you lift heavy and exercise hard that you’ll end up looking like a professional woman bodybuilder because 99.9% of the time, you won’t. Remaining a natural athlete while utilizing a healthy, nutrient-dense diet, proper supplementation, proper exercise programs, and recovery techniques are how you achieve a lean, firm, tight, athletic body.

  • How do I get Bigger/Stronger??

If you’re trying to get muscles that are bigger and stronger, working out is key. Strength training breaks down muscle tissue (muscle protein breakdown). Muscle protein synthesis is the process of creating protein to repair that damage. During recovery that tissue rebuilds stronger and bigger.

But, your body can’t create that new muscle tissue out of nothing. To make gains you have to have the right nutrients in your body to construct muscle.

This means that what you eat, and how much, is essential in making muscle gains. Lifting and doing strength training without adequate nutrition, especially without enough protein, can actually lead to loss of muscle tissue.

  • How do I lose Weight on the scale?

You must create a negative energy balance if your goal is to burn fat and lose inches. This is referred to as a calorie deficit. There are two general ways to create a deficit. • My knees/shoulders/back hurt when I lift what can I do?

Firstly, you must find someone who actually listens to you. Dont listen to the person that tells you to take medication and sit on your butt the rest of your days because its surgery or bubkiss. Then start working on fueling your mind with movements you can do to progress in any way. Food is also important so fuel yourself with a variety of nutrient dense foods. then progress into a workout routine that takes you out of the pain you are in. It took time to get where you are, its going to take time to get to where you want to be.

  • Why do you train powerlifters and Strongmen/Women?

In my short time of life so far I have learned quite a bit of variety in and outside of the gym. Most importantly ive found that you have to have belief in yourelf or soemthing to push past your comfortable boundaries. In the sport of powerlifting and strongman there is a certain community atmosphere that is one of a kind; everyone lifts by themselves, but every single competitor cheers for you to do your best! The amount of growth physically and mentally one can gain from these two sports is tremendous. So I will always dedicate myself to learning more and more about lifting to better execute these sports and my athletes/clients.
